    Nymph hooks

I'm not sure if i should put this into the tying folder or here, but since it's nymph specific...

Does anyone tie nymph patterns on the curved caddis/scud hooks?

What are some good patterns to tie on the curved hooks?

I tie lots of non descript nymphs on curved shank hooks, both the 200R and the caddis/scud hooks (2487, 2457, 80200, 80250).

Just a few of the named patterns I tie are: Eggs, Zebra midge, and WD-40's, plus many other unnamed (or unknown names) patterns

Here are just a few that are in my box now

Got this really cool camera at work that was getting no use, so I've been trying it out.

I can literally get the lens 2 cm from the fly and focus selectively, it's pretty cool.

Hey SloNDeep, those are some fishy looking flies. Looks like you are a big fan of the Tiemco 2457, that's a really good hook. I've been playing with their newer 2499SP-BL- it's sort of a barbless version of the straight-eyed 2488H, and it has a "Super Point" on it. There were some in the last "Guide Pack" from Umpqua, I think you got some?

i really didnt like the barbless style hook. i will stick to the 2488h. i had a discussion with another member and we are surprised that the large hook diameter does not detract from the flies effectiveness. i also use the 2457 for all of my other flies that need a curved hook.
