they gave us off from school today so i got restless and went fiishing. i hit the river and to my surprise the clarity was not that bad at all. you could see in the water about three feet. however, the water was ripping through there. where ever you found a quiet spot you were able to catch a few brookies and an occassional rainbow. i think that the water level was about 600 cfs. thats a really high level but the fish can still be caught if you stay out of the water and pick your spots carefully. all fish were caught on high water patterns suck as eggs worms and stoneflies. its just hard to get into catching small stockers after the big trout of co.... but i will get used to to it again >

i wish i was going fishing in CO tomorrow but im not going until the end of August
I'm not fishing this weekend waiting until next weekend but since todays my birthday, next tuesday i get my drivers license and may go fish a stocked pond next week some time
