Pretty cool reading this thread from the beginning and to see just how far we have come in a couple of years.

Some have had to travel farther than others. I personally had marginal success before implimenting these techniques and thus my skills had a long way to go to get them where they are today. I still have to admit that I have not arrived. As I look back on the progression of this site, it involved high level fly fishermen like Torry Collins, Davy Wotton, and ofcourse AJ to break down these techniques in detail and teach them to us here on TPO. I admit I am like a one trick pony. I can euronymph my butt off and catch lots of fish. But am I an accomplished fly fisherman? No. So yes we have come a long way. Some have traveled more than others. My destination may be different than others on this site. However, the common thread between us is we all are still enroute and having fun getting there.
