Wow! Great pictures. The water is alarmingly close to Rt. 7 by the Sand Hole. I wonder if any small features of the river will change after this flood (little slots for nymphing).
BLOWN OUT!!!!
thanks nymphmeister for the pictures.
the holes in the pictures are ... cellar hole, gravel hole, the park(looking from monument), sand hole and the covered bridge.

OH COME ON! That's nothing. Get a few beach balls for indicators and some large stones for split shot and you could nymph the HELL out of that!

Opie,
I will have some cinder blocks available for weights on Saturday at the HRO breakfast.
It has been worse in some of the past spring runoffs.

Who wants to wager that a certain website will state: "It is starting to drop up in Mass, and cuz we have the whole flow thing figured out, the Housatonic should be fishable in a couple hours. 24 hrs at the most if the tributaries are still full. Streamers and big Golden Stones along the banks will certainly pick you up 20-30 fish during the afternoon. Look for dry fly activity in the Cellar Hole parking lot from now til it drains."
what do you say TETON, 2-1 odds....I am on your side on that one.....I am sure that party will be forcing his guides to take out the sports this weekend too.....LOL ;D
