    Quick stop at the Hammonasset

Fished the Hammonasset for 20 minutes or so last evening, just got one small brown. The neat thing was, as I was hiking up the trail along the river, when I first got there, a huge bird flew up the river. "That has got to be an Eagle!" Sure enough, it swooped upwards, and I could see the white tail. A Bald Eagle! I've seen them on the Housy and the Farmington, but that is the first one I've seen in the New Haven area.

    Mike,

    It hit a Hendrickson nymph.
