SBR 4/2/2007

Juice and i hit the sbr for a few hours yesterday. the fishing was really good. i get the big "L" award for forgetting my waders at home. its really hard to fish with out waders. i had to pick my spots carefully but we caught a lot of fish between us. my good friend john even showed up and he caught a really nice rainbow. the fish are really starting to spread out nice and are almost anywhere you would like to fish. most of the trout were caught on more natural nymphs. justin still got some on the killer red worm pattern. really nice day to be out yesterday. we saw a variety of bugs. there were stoneflies, small black caddis, BWO's and HENDRICKSONS!!!! fishing will really pick up with the increased bug activity.

sounds like another great day were you in KLG or the clairmont stretch because the river is still closed as you know

we were in the gorge. i got out for a little while two days ago and caught one really nice rainbow and lost a few more brookies. yesterday was much better! i caught almost 10, including another really nice bow!
