HEllo guys and thanks for all your advice it really helps and no i am deffinitely not going to quit. I will be sastisified catching a trout on any fly but i really wanna stick it to these fish and catch them with a streamer. could someone with a killer streamer pattern that just seems to excite fish can u please share ur ideas>

If the trout are stocked try a white or natural zonker or an estaz woolly bugger in black or olive. Those are two generic patterns that work well.

If you can't tie or buy those flies, try a black ghost in a size 6. It's a killer for stockiesm
