    Top five eastern trout streams

since we did this on the western rivers, what do you think are your favorite top five home rivers here in the eat?
    mine are as follows:
    West Branch of the Delaware
    Main stem of the Delaware
    Spring Creek in Pennsylvania
South Branch of the Raritain in New Jersey (fifteen minutes from home and it is absolutely beautiful)
    The Neversink in New York

I would have to say these, not necessarily in this order:

    Housatonic
    Farmington
    West B. Delaware
Main stem of D (Fished it once. Not a great day. I know it is a great fishery. Will definetly fish it more this year)
Salmon River in East Haddam, CT (Personal favorite. All stocked trout but just a BEAUTIFUL little river)

P.S The Magalloway and Rapid Rivers in Maine are great as well...........Sorry I know that's more than 5 :

Heres my 5, take it or leave it...personally they are my favorites, and not what I would consider "TOP 5"...that term is very subjective. I will give you the 5 that I like in no particular order...

    Westbranch of the Delaware..
    Rapid River
    Westbranch of the Farmington
    Upper Housatonic
    Eastbranch of the Westfield...

These are my 5 favorite rivers to fish in the east...they have provided me with some great memories, downtime and a good place to decompress...hope your 5 favorite rivers do the same for you...

Delaware system I count Main stem East and West as one....All depends on temps and flows where one fishes..

    Beaverkill---

    Wilo

Letort ...Can be at times toughest river on planet (well it use to be have not been there in some time)

Neversink --Slipping off the list lately but still hanging in there...

    The Hous

    Ausable
    Connecticut (near Pittsburg, NH)
    Farmington
    Deerfield

Not knockin the Deleware, I know it belongs on the list (by reputation), maybe even second place :P, but my experience on that river wouldn't even rank it in th top ten.
