The TMA
Hit the tma water this morning, made two stops the first stop was nice no one was in so I started fishing water was up a bit about 700 cfs try to nymph the slow side of a couple seams ,had trouble with staying on the bottom. So I went to my second stop and tried six different woolybugger colors and had two swings and two misses. Maybe next time stay with the nymph

Re: The TMA
we you nymphing with or with out a strike indicator? check out the article in aarons corner titled" on the bottom the right way" this will provide you some insight on how to make sure that your flies are on the bottom. this time of the year the best fishing in with nymphs. the fish can be very inactive and many times are not willing to chase anything down. this is the time of the year where quality definately beats the quantity of fish that you catch on the farmington. also sometimes changing techniques can hurt you .... however with that beight said you did have more action with the streamer.
btw not all of the fish were caught on the inside edge of current seams the other day. some were caught in moderate current speeds.

i am trying to piece together something about long line nymphing with an indicator. this is a technique that i use a lot especially on the farmington and have really good success with that technique.
