Gallery Help

Loyal TPO Members,

I would like to ask for some help. I have spent a ton of time getting the new gallery up. I have had several requests for tutorials. If anyone could help with one I would appreciate it. Volunteers?

Hahahaha... Actually I was referring to support in general, not just from me. I think this is the third or fourth plaint you've made for someone else to take the reins on this......... Methinks there's a reason why you run the forum and not any of us!

How did you go about uploading pics to the new gallery?

I didn't. I was one who emailed Justin asking how to. Any help would be great.

I think that the "add photo" permission has not been enabled for us users.  Therefore we wouldn't even see that option.  I found this information on the Galley forum that you might find helpful.

If you navigate to a particular album (or the top level), you can select "Edit Permissions" and add user or group permissions.
"[core] add sub-item" allows adding photos, and "[core] add sub-album" also allows new albums to be created by those users as well.

Gallery has three special "super-groups": "Site Admins", "Registered Users", and "Everybody" (including non-logged in users).

The checkbox above allows the permissions to be set down into sub-albums or just at the top level.

Should be fixed. Everyone just be careful not to clutter it up. I can give someone admin permissions if they want to take charge of the Gallery.
