Great Job fishing KLG today and for a stockie brookie thats a nice looking fish

Mike
KLG fished AMAZING today. I was there for three or four hours and caught over 20 fish. I got mostly the freshly stocked but a couple hold overs or larger stock. They took red sj worms, flashback ptails, ptails, hare's ears, yellow and cream eggs, and pretty much anything else you threw at them. BWO's were hatching and the fish settled in nice after the stock. Catch of the day is below. A NJ one fin special, but a decent fight (broke my net cord) and a pretty fish for a cripple.

Nice job Juice. At the rate your fishing is progressing, your gonna be kicking Aaron's butt in another year or two. I'll teach ya all the secret Gary LaFontaine stuff, Lol.

Yeah, I'll do it. Got some other ideas too. I'm going to bed, not catching fish today made me tired!

How was the pressure down in the KLG? A nice day in March..hmmm...why wasn't I there?
You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish.
Anybody ever fish under hoffman's crossing brindge above the gorge? saw some people talking about big fish under there. Not sure if they were being sarcastic. Thanks!
I've never fished the bridge and never seen anything sizable there but I have seen people throwing dries n the pool above it. I'm going down there early tomorrow morning. I hope to beat the crowds and catch some nice fish. after todays temps i think the bite will be on!

trout5 you are right above the bridge is good dry fly fishing. i have seen trout rishing there even with all types of people wading in there. i guess they get used to it. we saw trout rising even in the gorge today.
