West Branch Delaware in Early March?

    Hi all.

I've never fished the WB before, but my plan is to give it a serious effort this year (my fly fishing new year's resolution!). Any suggestions for where to go in early March? How cold is too cold? I've been having quite a bit of luck around home (finger lakes area) as long at temps stay above 20 degrees.

If it helps, I prefer fishing subsurface 99% time, basically as long as there isn't a major hatch.

Thanks for any advice you can give!

If you had the film you would know the answer... I'm not even being sarcastic

Thanks for the response Aaron. I'm new to TPO....what is "the film"?

There are two sections of indicator nymphing right where you want to go. The other reference is that if no one answers, it's probably pretty good. That's what I learned about Montauk. When it is bad there are reports. When it's on fire you would think it's dead. The film is Mastering the Dead Drift. It's a West Branch nymphing manual.
