    I do agree the 10 foot 4 weight Z Axis is a great rod if you can find it. There might be some used ones left, but they were pretty expensive (because they are so good). Frank will tell you how nice they are as well. The ONE four weight is very similar.
    Well, after the butt section cracked while playing a fish, it was promptly replaced. Then a mid section snapped clean in half while playing the first fish (almost) caught after replacing the butt. I drove home, got the Z Axis, and headed back to the river.

    I think the 10 ft 4 wt Z is probably one of the best all around rods ever made. I bet you can find blanks around if you're into building them.

    It does everything well and is a pleasure to spend time with. I'm being buried with mine. My deal with the girlfriend is "til death do us part", but the dog and the rod are for eternity.
