Private native trout fishery- Big Fill Run located in Blair County, PA

I am reopening my parents campground,Bald Eagle Campsite April 13, 2012. This facility has two branches of the Big Fill Run flowing through the property. This is a tributary to Bald Eagle Creek. Every year, we catch many native trout over 20"- quite an accomplishment for such as small stream considering it has not been stocked by the state since 1976 !

beautiful, wild fish. just found out about your re-opening. I use to take my daughter there every year (usually #21) until it closed in 2003. Your parents were beautiful people and always so kind to me and my daughter. My boy was born in 2000 and I was so disappointed when the campground closed because I never was able to take him there. I can't tell you happy I am that you are re-opening. I go bye the property quite often in my travels and always look closely to see if the sign has changed. Can''t tell you how happy I am. Congratulations and great choice for the opening date - it's my birthday. Going to make res. for me and my boy now
