    Clear Creek-funny story

    Have you ever flown out to Denver to go skiing? Driving up i-70 to the mountains takes you over and by Clear Creek...you know that fishy looking river you cross several times around Idaho springs..yep thats it...
    Its a neat little river full of fish, on the small side but its a fun river because its totally accessible and you can always find a spot to get in without much trouble. Anyways ...i was euro nymphing this morning and hung a rig on a rock or something and had to break it off...no biggie..it happens. well i tied on a new rig straight 4x this time because the water is off color in this section. tied on a barr tungstone on the point and a wetfly on the dropper. about 5 casts later saw the sighter straighten out but felt nothing decided to pull in the rig to check for slime or what have you....hey...I only tied on one tungstone and a wet but why is there another hooked onto mine? I hooked the whole rig that I lost the point and the dropped serendipity! What in the world are the chances of that ever happening again even if I try?? Anyways that capped off a fun morning on clear creek...
