    Where it all begins

Let's see them guys! Here is my fly tying station/disaster!

Let's hope that yours are better!

nope my tying table is just as bad. That's the one area that i'm not organized in at all-never have and probably never will. I don't have any pics to send though. Even if I did I don't know how to send them anyway. I'm embarrased to say it but i'm honest with myself--computers are still very foreign to me.

Yeah right Aaron...I also tie left-handed! I'll let you borrow my label maker.

Alain, it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than a label maker to organize that boy!

I'll bite. Below are some shots of my "tying desk". It is actually an old oak entertainment center that we weren't using anymore. I hit the local hardware store to get some materials and added lights. I picked up 2 heavy duty drawer slides and some wood to build a pull out shelf. Underneath in all of the Ocean State Job Lot storage containers are my materials. Works great and when I am done I just close the door and no visible mess.

Very nice arrangement you have! Good organization, I see a lot of bright-colored materials. Is that a "natural daylight" lamp?

It is an Ott Light that I found at Costco for much less than you would spend from a catalog or fly shop. It is fantastic.

All the bright stuff has been for egg patterns...Loren's 1 material comet, etc.
