Dr. Rave -
Not if, but WHEN you get hooked by Euro-nymphing techniques, you will have to put something else in those pockets because you will be leaving your shot, mucilin and indicators in your gear bag!

Another Simms report:
I was able to find a new Simms Superlight fishing shirt for very cheap on the internet, so I went for it. The shirt is incredibly lightweight, and the material not only dries in a matter of minutes, but also protects against the sun. The two zip pockets on both sides are perfect for storing all the needs without carrying a vest: I loaded up strike indicators, splitshot, fly floatant, snips, my container of mucelin and a box of flies in there. It was some of the most comfortable fishing I've ever endured . . .waders, boots, and a fishing shirt (no vest or pack).
I soaked the shirt up continuously, and it really did dry in minutes. This is a very comfortable shirt, and did not cause overheating in 90+ degree weather last weekend. It is breathable, and is constructed with vents in some of the seems. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a high quality shirt and great for utility purposes. If you see anyone in a bright orange shirt of this sort, it's me! They come in a variety of colors, some very drab, and others a bit more vibrant.
Torrey, when is Simms gonna take my poster-picture for the ads??? ;D
