they will probably just swap them...let us know...
E guy I have sent back a few danny b's in the past year or two, there acutally pretty good with swap's. I would recommend that you send them back and just stay in touch with them via phone... I like my Dan Baileys but in the future its either Simms or Hardy.. Its kinda hard to ignore the fact that Hardys North American Hq is in the next state over...

The Simm's I owned the past were Neoprenes. I have never owned a pair of the Gore-tex waders. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the Patagonia waders. However, the decision is not carved in stone at this time. I have to make a decision on the issue of 3 ply vs. 5 ply in terms of durability and it's contribution in the department of warmth while wading waters 39 to 42 degrees.
Would I be off-base thinking the additional two plys only contribute to durability and that it really does not contribute to warmth, with staying warm in the river being more of a factor of undergarments and layering?
Jeff
I think the obvious is that the 5 will more durable than 3 but it's not going to give you any more warmth. Fleece and more fleece. I wear breathables all winter. 3 pair of wool socks and 3 layers of fleece and your good to go![]()

I wade in those water temps and air temps sometimes at 15-25 degrees in the winter out here in CO. My breathables and some layering and I'm not cold at all... I used some fleece pants and some of the Patagonia capalene thermals and I'm all set, plus sometimes some hand warmers...

I bought a pair of Simms "Headwaters" Gore-Tex Waisthighs two years ago and have no complaints except the gravel guards need replaced. No leaks at all. This winter I intend to send them back to Simms to replace the guards. At $250 I am well satisfied with their product. Gore-Tex is the way to go. I use my waders almost year round! I don't think you can go wrong buying their products.
