Called just about every one I knew to fish today but all had engagements to attend to. I feel that you really should'nt be fishing in winter by yourself. But with the nice weather and the annual New Years Day Salmon River run being cancelled I ran over to the WB.

Pulled into the parking area and had the place to myself. I started thinking that might be a bad thing considering the nice weather. Hopefully the veterans did'nt know something I did'nt as this was my first winter trip on the WB....Looked at my watch and it was already 9am As I approached the river. I felt a little uneasy about the situation. LOTS of water, where to start................

I only got into 5 fish and broke 1 off on the hook set in 4hours, smallest just made 20in. Great day to end the year on.
