I have been able to get out at least three times a week for at least a couple hours each time over the last month. However, due to the seemingly never ending project of creating the DVD I have not been able to fish with my head completely in the game. I have always had the thought of, "when is this going to end," in my mind.

However, with the DVD editing and the disk out for duplication, I was finally able to spend time on the stream with only the worry of attaching trout to the end my line. Taylor and I spent the weekend in trout paradise and it didn't let us down one bit. I was able to not think about how to teach someone the best way to Euro Nymph and was able to finally realize for what seems the umpteenth time how effective these techniques are. We caught so many beautiful wild brown trout that I am still in amazement as I went through the photos today. The photos that you are going to see are only a fraction of what could have been taken if we stopped catching fish to take more photos. I landed the largest trout that I have caught out of this stream to date. I didn't measure it, but there is no doubt that it was over 24 inches in length. Taylor and I fished "French" upstream nymphing as well as "Spanish" up and across techniques to catch these fish. Taylor, who is quite new to fly fishing, took over 2 dozen wild brown trout fishing in this manner.

We nymphed with crane fly larvae as the anchor and small mayfly nymph imitations as the droppers.
So it's back to fishing as usual
