I don't know too much about collecting other than what I said before. The age andcondition of the boxes will determine how much they are worth to someone. Some of those boxes look really good to me, but I am not a collector. I have a few glass eyed musky plugs that are worth around seventy dollars apiece but if I had the original boxes for them, they'd be worth a helluva lot more. As it is, they belonged to my grandfather so I wouldn't part with them for 1000 times that amount. I'd do like alan said and list them to see what kind of response you get. A lot depends on how much demand there is for them and how rare they are as well.

I googled the name on one of the boxes, Ray Bergman. Apparently he was a pretty famous tyer, artist and author in his day. This may have an impact on the value of those hooks. Here is a small biography about him:

The one box says Nyack and the bio says the store closed in 1921. That would be nice if they were that old.
Chris,
Do you ever go to the meetings for your TU? See if they want me to do a talk if you do.
I haven't gone yet. Every time they have meetings I'm fishing.
I've been meaning to make it to one though. When I do, I'll let you know.
