ended up making it to SC and the LJ on saturday...caught the same sucker twice at the SC my buddy landed 3 down by the benner hatchery ate some lunch then left and went to the LJ...had a nice bow on but LDR'ed it...buddy caught 5 brownies. Sunday went to fishermans paradise for the first time...braved the snow and wind and ended up with 8 each on an olive Hare ear 18 and an als rat 20-24. Caught a real nice size bow and decent brown just upstream of the new bridge. not a bad weekend...cept for the drivin

Just a heads up for the non-locals wanting to fish central PA this weekend, it is pouring buckets right now! The weatherman says that this will continue off and on throughout most of the day. Gotta love a nice February thunderstorm!

If this keeps up I am going to assume the larger waters will not be fishable for tomorrow. The med-small ones should be on the high side, but likely fishable given their previous low levels.

Good luck to everyone, I am hoping to hit SC tomorrow morning myself.

i fish spring pretty regularly and the past few days it has been fantastic. today the conditions were perfect and the fishing matched. the rain didn't really do much...the water is just how you want it to be.

As always the weatherman was wrong. It rained hard for a few hours in the morning and all we got was a bit of a shower this afternoon. I drove by SC about 4pm and it looked great. I think you are right, the rain didn't have a huge impact on the streams, it just added a tad of volume and some color.

I think I am gonna hit SC in the afternoon tomorrow, I plan to fish some smaller limestoners in the morning.

I will be out there somewhere too. The only X factor is the weather. The high is going to be 31 tomorrow after the 50's today. I am thinking BFC. I need to go run into a cement wall tomorrow!
