    Re: Aaron ? bead size

The few slotted beads I do have I get them on the hook how I want them then a drop of zap a gap on the back seems to hold them where you want them.

    Magnet,

Nice fish! You will laugh I have been getting some browns on them recently. Did you get the rainbows at the Housatonic? Where did you get the brown trout from?

When did you get the nice new net and reel?

    Hey Aaron,
Those fish are from this Monday at the Farmington. The water temp was 36.7. The 2 browns I got came on a stone nymph. The net is awesome! A Christmas present from the wife. Its a "cut float tube ghost net". Great reach while using a 10 foot nymph rod. The net is deeper than the original design too. Hangs well off the back with a mag net release. I don't know where she bought it but I do know HRO carries the Brodin line if any of your members are interested.

    Bob "Magnet"

Nicely done! You did especially good considering the weekend pounding on the river. It's funny too, that I caught no rainbows on Sunday and only one on Friday. In the time we have known you from the site, you have really developed some great fly fishing and fly tying skills, good for you!
