I went for a hike along Six Penny Creek in the French Creek State park. Managed by the PFBC as a Class A Wild trout stream. I fooled quite a few small wild trout (1 brown and 3 brook) all found in deeper riffle and tiny water falls all on size 18 and smaller beadheads including a Rainbow Warrior. At its largest width, I think it may have been 10' across (the stream that is). Beautiful scenery, nice walk, nothing spectacular, but what a challenge. Lots of roses and green brier. In the end, I finally landed in my first brookie of the year.![]()
