fibers left from yarn of strike indicator?

    Hi Aaron,

I attended one of your clinics at HRO and want to say thanks for the info and new rigging idea. I also have been making my stike indicators using your method on the website and have a question. I'm using the yarn from Carol's Rugs like you suggest and was wonding if you ever save the fibers from the yarn that are left when you comb out the yarn? While I was making some it crossed my mind if the fibers could be used for dubbing? What is you take on that?

One more thing her glow in the dark yarn really glows in the dark!

Great site & thanks in advance
if we all take 1 piece of trash from the area we fish , it will make a difference!

    Glad you like the indicators.

I don't think it would be good for dubbing. The fibers even when cut short would be very coarse and very hard to work with. Maybe we can tie glow in the dark flies !!!!

If the remaining fibers are long enough, they make very nice wings for a poly wing spinner.
