    Inappropriate use of "new topic"!

Hi, everyone. I'm finally here to stick my nose in things, after many months. I apologize for the delay, and i appreciate the prodding from a few of you to poke back in. I have a lot of catching up to do, I see! I'll be curious to read through the posts. I hope you're all having a good season so far!

How have things been out there? How has the fishing been? Get any big pigs this spring?

Hey fellas! Really nice to "see" you again! Really enjoyed the talk on the phone recently, Aaron.

A lot of the late winter and spring was kind of a blow-out here. Then, the bottom fell out and it turned immediately to mid-summer....hahaha. Things are steadying out now. Pressure has increased, as you can imagine, and there are a pile of guides, curious anglers, and drift boats passing through town now.

I haven't updated my site since the "major" overhaul a bit ago. I'll try and get some new pics and videos up soon.

I picked up a couple of spey rods...did I tell you that? Loving them for the wet flies! Extended nice drifts are a beeeeauutiful thang...

I'll be guiding every day for a week straight. I'll let you know how things go.

Site looks GREAT, by the way! Nicely improved!

Can you help me with the posting of videos on my site? This wouldn't be the place to do it, of course!

    Kurt,

I would think Justin can help you with the posting of the videos.

As for the videos on here. Go right ahead! I have zero problem with it. You are one of the friendliest people I have met in fly fishing and I am sure people here are interested in the fishery there and the techniques you catch those big fish with. So go right ahead.

    Kurt-

Welcome back, great to see you posting again. We are getting into wet flies now, Davy Wotton has made converts of us! I'm sure you would approve.

Any changes in the fishery on the Clarion? Sounds like more fishing pressure, that almost always happens when you make a stretch of water C&R. That may make those big 'ol browns wise up even more than they already are.

Again, great to have you back.

Hi, Torrey! I again apologize for not popping in here and there. I mean to, and think of it, but it never seems to be at a time that I can actually DO it.

Yes, the pressure has slowly and steadily increased, initially from the first articles and books about my area, also the regs, I'm sure. But, in comparison to any other worthwhile waters in PA, it probably pales in comparison. Access is the main issue nowadays, not pressure, really.

It is shocking to see the amount of wet fly posts since our discussions last summer or fall (I forget). Glad to see the experimentation, and also the interest in the history, particularly with Davy's information and help.

Hey to you, too, Aaron...and by the way, when I mentioned the video thing, I meant to post them on my site, not to clog up this one. I'm sure that Justin will help me out, too, when we both find time.

I hope you're all doing well, too.
