    Bass fishing advice

    Hello friends..
    I have 4 weight fly rod for trout and Panfish. I want to start getting into bass fishing more. Just wondering can I use my 4 weight for fishing small bass? They are not very big (around 17 inches). What are some good bass flies I can comfortably cast with a light rod?

    You can sling most lightly weghted streamers like Buggers, Crawfish, small zonkers and Poppers in the standard #6-#10 if your a decent caster. The thing I would be worried about is how well the rod can handle being smacked by a streamer.
