    Fly Fishing Guide in Southern Maine

    Any suggestions/recommendations on a guide, salt or fresh water, for S. Maine....I will be on vacation first week of August.

    I'll be making some calls this week and will keep you posted. I want to take my son (7yrs old) but mom is a little nervous about letting him go on a float trip. Nothing like a nervous mom!

    I'll be interested in how the androcoggin fishes this time of year. I'll be in Me visiting family next month and might be able to get away for a day to fish. Is there a bottom release tailwaters around up there.

    I contacted Eldridge Fly Shop in Cape Neddick.... http://www.eldredgeflyshop.com/index.htm . Spoke with a real nice guy (Tom) who was very helpful. He said almost everything in So. Maine this time of year is geared towards salt water and stripers. He has multiple guides available for hire depending on the day. I am planning on using them during my vacation 8) in August. I'll keep everyone posted.
