at the Somerset Fly Fishing show, I cast a bunch of different rods. I've heard a few nightmares about Winston rods, so I didn't cast them. I cast a couple of Scott fly rods, nothing terribly memorable about them.
I cast a Zero Gravity... I loved it. It was a nice light rod, great action (fished tip flex rods), and was very very impressed with it. I was told to go fish a Z-Axis after I fished that... The Z-Axis blew it out of the water. Light is one thing, but light in the right spot is another. When you pick up the rod, it's not as light as the Zero-G, but it was so much more substancial when you cast it. I bought one right away. I'm working on getting my hands on another one soon.
I wish I cast a TCR, but I didn't.
