Aaron and I were on the carp kick today, Right off the bat we hooked up and are rods stayed bent. Between the two of us we must have landed close to twenty of these golden bone fish... We even had a two year old local boy net and reel a few in..It was crazy my forearms are done!!For sure the larger ones we over eight pound mark.. Also we doubled up a few times, the longest fight lasted 15 mins

That kid musta had a blast....he'll remember that for a long time. He must have been brave to hold that fish....I remember squealing holding my first!

what did they take and what time of the day did you fish? I'm trying to build up to carp by bassin on Staten Island. caught about 12 last week during the new moon cycle.
