    Bass, Brookies, Rainbow O My.

I was on a trib to Lake Champlain yesterday caught some real nice small mouth that are running into the trib to spawn. Caught a few small rainbows and about a dozen nice size brookies. I was mainly trying to catch bass. I was using a bugger with a bead head pheasant tail for a dropper. I will post picks in the next few days but right now I am on my way out to catch some LandLock salmon.

It's finally warm out up there! How big were the brookies? Did you get any salmon?

The brookies were all around the 10 inch mark. I found out from my buddy that works for the hatchery that he stocked those brookies about six miles up stream. He said the average for them was 10.2" and that there was some as big as 15". The Salmon fishing I did I was using spin gear. I did not catch any but I did have one follow my lure and miss it by inches. The lake is still really cold. On that note yes it is finally warm up here. It seems like you guys got all of our snow. I will post pics but I am on my way out to go fishing again. So I will do it later.

Better late than never. I did not add any rainbow or brookie pics because the were nothing special the bass is what I was targeting.
