    LBI this weekend

    I am heading down to the Jersey Island this weekend and was wondering if anyone had good info on any prospective fishing down there. I am pretty new to the saltwater game so any info would be helpful. I hope you don't say the fishing is lousy down there!

    Fish at night in the spots that we talked about. An intermediate sinking line should be fine. You should catch some weakfish and some smaller blue fish. I know that this is more for the Seaside/Island Beach State Park area, but they updae it every day and you can find fishing reports there. www.bettyandnicks.com

    As for flies, you can use clousers, decievers (black is good at night), epoxy flies and remember most of the bait is small there this time of the year so try to keep your patters between two and three inches. If you don't get stuck at the card table tell us how you did

    fluke fish has been pretty good with some big fish being caught 10+ pounds
