I wonder what the action will be like. It seems that alot of rod manufactures are making the longer rods for nymphing but keep the fast action they use on most other rods. Either way by next year I'm sure alot of other companies will be offering long nymphing rods in light weights. When is there going to be a TFO pro 10ft. 3wt.?
The action will be much like he Greys 3 weight if I had to guess. The lower 2/3s of the rod will be a touch stiffer. It will also be much lighter than the Greys and look a lot better. It's a Winston! They are nicest factory produced rod hands down.
word was there was a proto type they were just working out the bugs so to speak . I read they were trying to figure out the guide placement . Id rather see a ten foot tfo 4 wt then a three atleast for the fish out here ,I know the three is fun to play with on the east coast but if you rap into a big fish the landing time is critical on the fishes survival

the folks at sage might take issue with that comment. It's a Winston! They are nicest factory produced rod hands down.
I think you both meant TnT.

I think the Winstons are nicer than Sage.
I fished with a Winston this passed weekend. They look and fish pretty nice. Still like the TnT's better than both. They are all very nice rods though, for sure.
I use my Sage's for carp, lol.
