    Lady Amherst Pheasant

    I stumbled upon a tail feather from this bird at the local mall. I've been using it to make legs in some of my nymphs, it has a great striped effect. Does anyone know of any moderately easy to middle of the road patterns that call for this feather specifically? I'd like to give em a try.

    Pretty much the feathers from this bird are used for Atlantic salmon flies, some have use also for steelhead, spey styles.
    Dyed AM tail is good for herl bodies, a few of the hackles are useful for soft hackles.

    The tail feather I bought is black and white. Is that the natural color for this bird or was this dyed?
