Yeah, Nick and Chris were on fire. I on the otherhand stunk out the place. I just couldn't seem to get the handle on that long leader with the curly q sighter. I am going to try dacron next time.
I fished the Saucon and the Monocary on Sunday with Chris and Lopat. Both creeks fished great but the Saucon was amazing. It seemed like there were fish everywhere on the Saucon. No monster but some in the 12-14 inch range, all though I hooked into one that went flying past me and was every bit of 18 inches before he came off. If it was a brown for sure I would have been really pissed but it looked like a sucker and I'd be really suprised to catch a brown that big in there. The weird part and what got me going on my other post was catching two stockers in the Saucon. The Monocary also fished well and has a good number of wild browns in it. The Saucon was low and clear although I used 5x the whole time with no adverse affects. The Monocary was a little higher and a touch off color.

Could you see the trout in the Saucon? Sometimes when the water gets lower you can see them feeding. It makes for some fun fishing since they get in some really shallow water.
Only in one place did I get to do some sight fishing. But it was actually a deep pool with a sand bottom so they stood out against the sand. I tried to stay far enough away from the shallow spots that I couldn't see the fish.
I'll go ahead and add a picture to this thread. Had a great time out there, the fishing was great.
I'm looking forward to getting out there again soon.

Thanks. The rainbows really like that one.
I've noticed. As a matter fact it has saved me from some disappointing days. And even through it was way too big for the Little Lehigh, the rainbows there didn't seem to mind.

Blacklabel:
Great pictures of the browns and the last one with the brookie.
I hope to get out this weekend on the Farmington.

That Farmington is very good right now... And that might be understatement![]()
