Look up Cortland Endurance on Ebay, just got one and in a 10' 3 wt. and it's awesome with a nice softer to medium action. Still have to fish it though to be honest.

I'm in the market for a new nymphing rod as well, seeing as dryfly action out here in Colorado is a lot slimmer than it was back east. I just don't feel like a 3wt can cut it if a big boy is hooked. Your thoughts on this? I used my uncle's Sage Graphite III (3 wt) and hooked a nice one in Utah, and sure enough this rod was at its limit, fish ran across stream and popped off. I mean the water was pretty fast but I'm just skeptical is all. I definitely want something some more feel, my current 9' 5wt is a fast tip and I'm definitely missing some takes on it.

I too am a TFO rod owner. Mine is a 9.5' 5wt. I have caught many fish with it BUT it is NOT sensitive. We are living on a limited budget and it seemed like a great deal at the time but I would opt for a more sensitive rod for a bit more money if I could.

On a postive side, it handles bass and larger trout like a champ!

Been fishing my new Cortland Endurance 10' 3wt. recently and it's exactly what the doctor ordered. It's got a nice medium-soft action and casts long leaders very well. I even took off the nymphs and casted the leader with the sighter and everything turned over just like a fly line it was amazing. That just doesn't happen with very fast rods. I got it on Ebay for around $100 shipped. It may be slightly tip heavy but I haven't felt it yet, it balances decently with my 5/6 large arbor spooled with 5wt. line if that tells you anything. Comes with a case and all, good luck.
