    Hends Products

    I was wondering if any of you on here ordered good directly from Hends Products? If so how long did it take to receive your order.

    Hends is sort of like the Wapsi in Europe, and they are based in the Czech Republic (domain name .cz).

    I have not ordered from Hends directly, as Fly-Tying Specialties and Wingaersheek Flies carry some of the same materials and they are US-based. I have ordered however directly from another "cz" web-site, Jan Siman without any problems, except the shipping time. From Jan Siman, my goods arrived in about a month, but I had to sign customs paperwork at the post office when they arrived.

    I would feel secure about spending money via the internet for a Czech-based company, but be prepared to wait.

    One good feature about the Jan Siman site is the "Live Chat" feature. When I ordered, I was able to communicate in real time to ask questions about product availability and they were really helpful.

    Yeah I seen fly tying specialties is looking to get into offering more hends products. I think I will wait I really don't feel like waiting a month so I am sure I can find a substitute. I usually find stuff on Siman then get it somewhere else but Hends stuff really seems to be harder to find in the states.
