I would say the 10 foot 3 weight Greys is my favorite rod now.

For Spring Creek (Centre County, PA) and the Little Juniata, I prefer the Classic G.Loomis GL3 8 foot - 4 weight.

For the Bighorn and Yellowstone, I prefer a Classic G.Loomis GLX 9 foot - 5 weight. The tips on the GLX rods are really fragile so you gotta be careful, but man do they ever cast nice.

All of my G.Loomis rods were purchased before Gary Loomis sold the company a few years back.

    Hope this helps.

My favorite rod for nymphing is an old Winston 8 1/2' 5 wt. It has a great backbone but not too stiff. For small water and dries I have a 7' 4 wt. Art Weiler bamboo rod, I like it for the Little Lehigh size waters. I also use the bamboo for nymphs. I like using my rod and not hanging it on the wall. Jake

My favorite rod has to be my Haynie 7'4" 4wt quad bamboo, or the 7'0" 5wt hex, both awsome rods, if you are into bamboo.

My Sage XP 9' 5wt. A great all around that seriously seems like an extension of my arm. This rod fits my casting style perfectly.

Davy the 10 pound Brown rod sounds like a great rod who sells them? ;D
