I thought I would share a positive experience

Last summer I purchased a pair of Cloudveil 8x pro waders. I found them on sale for $250.00. This season they developed a leak in one of the booties. I called Cloudveil they gave me a warranty # over the phone I sent them back. In 10 days I had a brand new pair.I tried them on and the booties were to smal but the waders were the same size as the ones that I sent them so I called Cloudveil back and talked to a very nice lady that went over the sizing chart with me to pick a pair that would better fit me. She told me that the waders have been redesigned and the sizing must have been changed. She sent me a new pair of the proper size and I received them in less than 48 houres. I was a little disappointed that the wader's leaked so soon but I am very happy with Cloudveil warranty service.

I have recently had a similar experience with Cloudveil. I bought mine on sale at Up Country which is a great fly shop on the Farmington. My 8x pro waders were leaking in the seam near the left knee. Cloudveil was redesigning their gortex waders for 2008. It cost 23.00 dollars to ship them Fed X but within 3 weeks I had a new pair of the 2008 version at my door step. I too am disappointed that they leaked right away and worry about the new pair. However I concur with you on the great warranty service. I might add that I just retired my Hodgman neopreme waders after 5 years of reliable service! I hope going high tech was a good choice. They sure are comfortable. We'll see.
