I have one final question. Does anyone have a good spot for blue gills and bass preferrably a pind near the area of wethersfield i can take about thirty minute to forty five minute rides at the most because my mom is using slot of gas this weekend to visit some relatives lol. Oh and i know this sounds very wimpy but i have never liked releasing blue gills i have no problem with trout ill even kiss them but i dont know about blue gills is there a good way to release them?

Pinch down the barbs on your hooks,,,,,use pliers to grab the fly and just rotate the hook out of their mouth. You do have to handle the fish at all.

Have you checked out Weathersfield Cove on the Connecticut River? If you are a resident of Weathersfield you may get free access. I have caught nice fish in that area, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, small strippers.
