upstatetrout and I hit the White hard today. We fished from nine am to four pm with just a short break for lunch. We both rocked the water. I primarily EU fished but I am getting a good number of fish on soft hackles and floating line. upstatetrout rocked the fish with his dry caddis , the trick he said was to let it float for a bit and then twitch it underwater . This is truly a great river. The grannom hatch is going full steam and midges are always present. Here are some shots of the water we fished today.
