With the CT DEEP website reporting that more stocking was performed this week, I ventured out to the trout park section of the Natchaug this morning. I fished upstream from the last time I was there. The water was nice and cool, and caddis appeared to be roaming around. I fished a Parachute Adams as an indicator with a 365 nymph as a dropper. Took a couple rainbows on the 365. After loosing my dropper, I tied on a Rainbow Warrior. Landed two more Rainbows on that fly. Switched to a Frenchie before lunch time and took a Brown and a Smallie. Fishing got difficult as the wind kicked up and was dumping massive amounts of leaves and pine needles on the water. Decided to call it a day soon after.

CT DEEP reported that they were stocking Browns 12" and greater. I didn't catch anything of that size, but had an awesome outing non the less.
