Wow! At that speed, my globugs always look lopsided, and boy does that synthetic yarn eat up the blades on my scissors. I always used the method with three strands of yarn on top of the hook, lashed down in the center. I lift the two ends and make one cut. Maybe there is a better way? Even so...I just bought some trout beads, 6, 8mm in the caramel roe color, I couldn't resist (but I've never used them before).
I'm not really sure, however, how to rig the beads for Pulaski, since bare hooks are not allowed. Otherwise, I think sliding the bead on your leader and using a toothpick stopper is acceptable, with a bare hook 1-2 inches away.
