the river came up 200 cfs due to the rain the night before. the river looked great but the fish didnt think so. i caught over dozen trout half bows half browns. it wasnt the fast and furious action that i had expected given the awesome conditions. the largest was about 17 inches. the trout were mostly in the deeper fast runs. the h2o temps felt a bit warm yesterday. the bows were definately found near the cool water influences. i watied till dark when it got windy and began to rain. few fish were rising before the rain and even less once it started. on a sclae of 1 to 10 i would give yesterday a 5. ;D i am a tough judge
btw there were olive and tan caddis hatching(not in great numbers) , a FEW march browns, some tiny bwos and a few light cahills.
