Wow! That is a big one... Pennsylvania streams hold lots of trout in excess of twenty inches. That one is in a league of it's own though.
When I think of streams in PA where I have not caught a 20" wild brown trout it's tough to make that list when talking about any of the larger waterways. This fall and early winter has been a true eye opener as to the potential of some of the lesser known streams that hold nice fish. I can't wait for the next two weeks to be over with so I can really get out and fish all of the new places that I have been eyeing up.
I do have a good idea of where that fish came from based upon the "blocky" body shape. Definitely eats meat. It's not long and slender like your average insect eater.
Seeing that large fish just proves that it's about getting out there!
