Re: Fishing the redds: Lake Run vs Stream

If the managers of this site were smart, they would lock this post. I hope they do...

Anyways, if you do decide to keep this post open, take the personal bullshit elsewhere. Clearly some of you have some things to work out, and are acting like little girls. It really makes you look like an idiot when you are calling people out like this on a public forum. This is an informational site, where you can take the material to heart or with a grain of salt. There are clearly legitimate arguments for fishing to breeders and not. But if the pros and cons are listed out here, everyone can make their own judgment.

As this is an important resource for my own fishing endeavors, please don't ruin this site by turning everyone against each other. Steering people away from posting in fear of being shot down or out of spite is not the way this should be run.

    -End rant.

Re: Fishing the redds: Lake Run vs Stream

I'm going to lock this. Look what happens when I go away for the weekend with no internet.

    Everyone calm down.

Remember what the site is for:

"*NOTICE* This fly fishing site was founded for informational and educational purposes. The mission of TPO is to provide fly fishing knowledge that leads to more Trout on your fly line. Posts should concentrate on Reports, Inquiries, and General Fishing Conversation. Any posts that are inflammatory, insulting, or otherwise ill-natured will be removed immediately, and individuals who habitually violate these rules will be asked to leave. TPO is a catch and release fly fishing community, which also welcomes anglers of all methods and persuasions, please help keep our rivers clean and our fish healthy! *NOTICE*"

I do want to make it clear, although I don't think all the bickering is needed, please just remember where you get information from. A couple simple thank you's is often enough to make someone feel appreciated.

Also remember Aaron is a professional guide, guiding people is part of his lively hood, it's how he puts food on his plate. When anyone directly competes with him, it takes money out of his pocket. I certainly wouldn't be an apprentice shoemaker and then open up a shoe making shop next to the guy who taught me.

Just think about it for a few minutes.

Thank you all again for your consideration.
