    I ended up buying this rod on ebay and it arrived today. Paid a grand total of $66 dollars including the shipping. It only took a week to get here, that was nice. The action is a lot faster than my TFO. I am going to give it a try tommorrow at the little creek, hopefully the water is calmed down a bit by morning.

    I took the new rod to the Bushkill today and I got to say that I am absolutely tickled with it. Now I know a lot of you guys would look down your nose at a rod that only cost 18 British Pounds (roughly $30) but this rod did everything I wanted it to. I long lined with it and I was able to place my flies everywhere that I wanted them to go. Though slightly heavier than my 9 ft TFO I was still able to fish comfortably with it. Hooksets were outstanding, I did not miss a single fish today, something I was never able to say before. The tackle discounter in Britain from whom I purchased this rod lists the msrp at 245 pounds which roughly converts to 350 dollars. That may well be an inflated figure but I would definitely recomend it as a backup for your more expensive rod. The total price of rod and shipping was $66, you can't beat that!

    You can;t beat those cheap heavy rods for the price. I got a Cortland Endurance for about $110 10' 3wt. and it throws a ton of 20lb leader and nymphs awesome. I can even get out maybe 50-60ft. of line with a 5wt. TT on it, if the situation called.
