Do you mean a loop at the end of the leader for a loop to loop connection?
I mentioned in a different thread that I have trouble tying knots due to numbness in the tips of my fingers, especially in colder weather. I have a few questions that I hope someone could help me with. Would looped leaders be a good option, are their any performance issues with them and what brand would you recommend? Thanks

No problems with knot strength, just make sure you perform the loop to loop connection properly. The resultant connection should look like a square knot.
In terms of leaders to buy, you can use any type you want (say 9ft 5X). Just make a perfection loop at the end of the packaged leader and another loop in the tippet section with fly. The hardest thing to do is to keep the pre-tied flies from getting tangled up!
If you're going to do like alan said you might want to try a dropper box so your pre tied flies don't get tangled (if I'm thinking the same way alan is this should work but I'm not sure) check it out:

once agin I'm not quite sure what alan mean when he says pre-tied flies but if he means already having a piece of tippet tied on the fly with a loop on it for connection to the leader this box should work.

I saw a presentation by George Daniels and he uses these to manage some of his rigs. Might be a good idea for switching between long line and short line styles.
Got Elsinore?
Kyle: by "pre-tied," I mean tying a piece of tippet to a fly and making a loop in the other end. You would then transport the assembly to the stream and loop it together for fishing. In this manner, you could tie up your rigs at home on the kitchen table or someplace warm with good light.
Thanks for the info guys. This is a great website!

I use Orvis leaders. There leaders come with a loop already tied.
