    Aaron in Arkansas

Talked to Aaron briefly tonight, he's on day one of (I believe) a 5 day fishing trip down there. Dave the Rave is meeting him there Thursday night. He fished the Little Red today, said it's all the 18-23" browns you want, all day long- sow bugs, red midges, egg flies & SJ Worms. Said he lost a 28-30" 10# plus monster in the high water. I think I'm gonna go with him next year, he's the guinea pig this Fall. I went in April about 5 years ago, it was fun- lots of trout, but no big ones. Aaron hit the spawn perfect, the rivers are loaded. I think he's gonna fish the Norfork too. A guide he's friendly with down there said he'd put him on some absolute monster trout, in the 20-30# plus range- he might even get to see a world record trout swimming around. Joe Humphreys is down there doing some night fishing & shooting video. He hooked & lost a potential world record at night last year. I'm hearing rumors of a 48" brown in one of the rivers down there, allegedly the one Joe hooked & lost. I think Aaron's brain would explode if he hooked that one! Lol. I suspect we will be seeing some pix of 10# plus trout before the week is over, and maybe even one in the 20-30# range if he gets lucky.
