My biggest wild brown in NJ with Pic

On Friday after school went to a WTS with two of my friends but they were not fishing only i was
When i got to the stream it was very low but I was like let me give it a shoot anyway and in the first spot got my biggest wild rainbow in NJ it was about 10 inches long and kept working upstream and got two smaller bows at 5 to 6 inches and then saw a spot with some branches in the hole a made a long cast and fish on and when i finally landed him i was like WOW :shock: :shock: I was a 14 to 15 inch wild brown with some amazing red spots on it i was so happy and that made my day and that was the last fish of the day and i packed it up and went one home and I was fishing with spinners

I did some fence work a year or two ago at a power plant along the Delaware on the Jersey side (Reliant Energy I think it was). Anyway, on the way there everyday we drove along the Musconetcong for a while and it always looked like nice water. What's the deal with it?

The deal is its so silted up its about 12 inches deep. An exaggeration, but if you ask older anglers about the good ole days on the musky, they'll tell you all about its demise. Supposedly it used to have lots of aquatic plant growth and scuds. NOw I think its mostly put and take.
